MECHANICAL HOUNDS (June 22-23, 2007)
SO MUCH FUN! I can't say it enough. For those that are maybe a little "impatient" with my less than timely ability to post regular updates, you may have already discovered a report on the FUNtastic Wasatch Back relay while blogstalking my friends. Fair enough. Actually thumbs up for being so resourceful! :)
Anyway, here is an excellent recap and PHOTOS of the festivities:

My runs obviously vary from those reported in the above link. My favorite part of the relay was my last leg, a 5.3 mile run, which began around 3:45am and is best summarized as me, a very attractive orange workmans vest, a headlamp, an open highway road, an iPod, and stars. In all 5.3 miles I never crossed paths with another runner. I felt it was fulfillment of our team motto:
Watch for a man running.
Watch for the running man.
Watch for a man alone on foot.
Watch.
Final leg:

Some of my favorite, or at least what I thought were most creative, team names:
- Wasatch my back I'll wasatch yours
- That's some rapid thigh movement
- (and the ever so inappropriate) Tits for Tots
P.S. Yes I got bangs. I figured it was time to stop obsessing over Reese Witherspoon's and get my own. A special thanks to my sister-in-law Nikki! :)
